Gutter Cleaning

Clogged gutters are what cause the expensive problems. We clear them out, flush them through, and take the mess with us.

Why It Matters

The Cheapest Repair Is The One You Never Need

Gutters fill with leaves, shingle grit and packed debris until water can't reach the downspouts. Once that happens it overflows behind the fascia, rots soffits, soaks the ground against your foundation and — in winter — feeds ice dams that push water back up under your shingles.

We hand-clear the troughs rather than blowing the debris across your roof and lawn, then flush every downspout from the top and confirm water is running out at the bottom. A gutter that looks clear from the ground can still be blocked at the elbow, which is the part you can't see.

FAQ

Gutter Questions

How often do gutters need cleaning?

Twice a year is the reliable answer for most homes — late spring and again after the leaves drop. If you have pines or heavy tree cover directly overhead, you may need more; a home with no nearby trees can often go once a year.

Do you clean gutters with guards installed?

Usually yes, though it depends on the system. Some guards lift off easily and go back on; others are screwed down or tucked under the shingles and add labor. Let us know what you have and we'll factor it into the quote.

What if you find damage up there?

We'll show you photos and tell you plainly what we saw. We don't do gutter repair or replacement, so there's nothing in it for us to exaggerate — you'll get an honest report and can take it to whomever you like.

Do you take the debris away?

Yes. It gets bagged and leaves with us, and we rinse down the ground and any landscaping underneath before we pack up.
