House Washing

Soft washing that lifts years of dirt, algae and mildew off your siding — safely, and without a drop of high pressure.

Soft Wash House Washing

The Fastest Way To Make A Home Look Years Younger

Nothing changes a home's appearance faster than a proper house wash. Over time, siding collects a film of dust, pollen, spider webs and — the real culprit — algae and mildew that feed on the surface. It builds so gradually that most homeowners don't notice until they see the clean stripe where we started.

We don't blast it off. Blasting siding with high pressure forces water behind panels, strips paint and can permanently etch vinyl. Instead we soft wash: a low-pressure application of surface-safe detergents that kills the organic growth at the root, dwells for a few minutes, then rinses away with little more force than a garden hose.

The result is a genuinely clean surface rather than a temporarily rinsed one — which is why a soft-washed home stays clean far longer than a pressure-blasted one.

Our Process

How A House Wash Actually Goes

1

Walkthrough

We inspect the exterior with you, note problem areas, and confirm the plan and price before anything gets wet.

2

Protect

Landscaping gets pre-watered, fixtures and openings are checked, and outdoor furniture is moved clear.

3

Soft Wash

Detergent is applied low and slow from the bottom up, given time to break down the growth, then agitated where needed.

4

Rinse & Review

A thorough top-down rinse, a final landscaping flush, and a walkthrough so you can point at anything you want redone.

FAQ

House Washing Questions

Will soft washing damage my siding or paint?

No — that's exactly why we use it. Soft washing rinses at roughly the pressure of a garden hose. The cleaning is done by the detergent, not by force, so there's nothing to strip paint, force water behind panels or etch vinyl.

How often should a house be washed?

Most homes look their best on a once-a-year schedule. Homes under heavy tree cover, near water, or on the shaded north side of a lot may want it more often; very dry, sunny exposures can often stretch longer.

Is it safe for my plants and grass?

Yes, when it's done properly. We pre-wet all landscaping before we start, keep it wet through the wash, and give everything a thorough final rinse. Pre-wetting is the step that matters most, and it's not optional for us.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily — we just need access to an outdoor water spigot and the areas being cleaned. That said, most customers like to be there for the final walkthrough, and we're happy to work around your schedule.

How long does it take?

A typical single-family home takes two to four hours. Larger homes and heavy staining can extend that. We'll give you a realistic window when we quote.
